What Does Fuel Cut Sound Like?

I am having a problem when my car reaches around 12 PSI, it makes a weird noise and looses power.
The noise kind of sounds like the rev buzzer, but broken up.
I am wondering if there is something wrong with my FCD?

I've hit the fuel cut before with my FCD disconnected. The engine sounds like this:

rrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAaaahhhhhh,fffft,fffft,f ffft,fffft,fffft,fffft,fffft,fffft,fffft,fffft,fff ft,fffft.

As far as the buzzer sound, I can't help.

as ya said fuel cut is just a dramatic loss in power. depending on the computer it cuts every second injector pulse. but you would have the fuel cut defender, would u not??? i'm assuming when u say weired noise, you're not talking about detonation, which would also create a dramatic power loss.

what i want to know is why don't they use ignition cut. i thought fuel cut would cause detonation?

i'm getting fuel cut at 17psi (my aftermarket computer is set at 17psi). my turbo is set at 15pounds but creeps at higher rpm.

i suggest you keep away from the fuel cut until everthing is sorted out.

Yep.. I figured it out!
I was running too much boost (.93 bar)
Lowered it to .83 bar. Runs lots better!
