what does this do?

i searched with no luck. what does the switch on the throttle peddle do? my S5 GXL dosent have it. thanks.

that looks to me like the neutral safety switch for the clutch.

It was used by the AAS system to activate the anti-squat feature when you accelerated. Basically you put your foot down and the shocks got firmer. The same thing happened when you braked (brake switch) and turned sharply (steering wheel angle sensor).

ya my car was a auto but i converted it to a 5 speed. my S4 parts car has that switch, i dont see any wires that may have gone to it on my car. unless its activated some how by the auto trans instead of the throttle peddle? thanks for the info.
