what does it do??

I have the automatic suspension changeing system thinggy in my car that changes the suspension from "normal" to "sport" and I was wandering 2 things 1)What does it change/do?(I know it does something to the suspension) 2)will coilovers work with it?

normal is probly cushier for small bumps and stuff, and sport is stiffer you'll feel the road more, but itll handle better.
I think thats right.

If you have the owners manual, it'll tell you exactly what is does.
It changes the shocks stiffnest depending on cornering and braking manuevers.
