I stand corrected. I though the lower-spec GTR's didn't get electric windows.

They are aftermarket. The 16" BBS wheels fitted to Japanese Infinis (and no other models) had the Infini symbol on the center cap. These wheels were part of BBS's normal line-up so you could buy them anywhere, but they had the normal BBS center cap.

...there are no stickers missing on the car...
There's supposed to be a GTX sticker on the right rear.

...here is a pic if you still think its a gtx
Dude, I believe you...

It's the stock wing, so removing it will definitely not increase the car's value, probably the opposite...

Yo Eazy, your car's pretty cool...

What's the name of that paint color?

I'd probably pay around 8k for it if it had really good compression and was running great. I'd still pay at least 5k for it with the motor going out.

NZConvertible yes your correct on the wheels, did a little searching and asked the guy who i bought the car through and he said they are aftermarket but common (as you said) .... but im still iffy on the GTX sticker... theres no sign of one being there, not that its hard to clean up after a sticker, but why would there be a GTX stick on a GTR???

i was originaly quoted at 5800, which i thought was great, but to my suprise and delight whe i went to pick it up he knocked off $800!!!! for the trouble of having to buy a new battery cuz the car wouldnt start!!! luckily he had allready told me before the car was shipped that it most liekly wouldnt start and would need a new battery, so i had one purchased ahead of time

not sure i can do this but a shout goes out to Christian at www.importconcern.ca for the great survice 24/7!!!! and how he always went out of his way to search for the right car for me! thanx again man!!!!

There should be seat belts for those rear seats!! Having had 4 people in my Oz delivered 2+2, there should be cool little seat belts. Those rear seats are perfect for kids under 5, they fit so snugly back there and the loud exhaust keeps em quiet. I've had 4 full size people in it several times, but the back seaters were usually intoxicated (which helps squeezing em in and convincing them you can't put your seat forward).

TII Jap imports into Australia go anywhere from $5k-$12k AUD. There's usually a bit of work to get them up to compliance here. Although i've seen a bunch of which could only be registered for track usage due to their mods and lack of safety equip. For $12k it would want to be an immaculate condition TII Vert with low kms, and as original as possible.

I will admit though, I can't understand why there is the fasination with RHD RX7's in the US, even worse people converting to RHS (too much time and money).

Oops, sorry, my bad. That was a typo. I meant to say there's supposed to be a GTR sticker on the right rear, to match the ones on the sides.

I also remembered that some had a "Mazda" sticker on the right instead of GTR/GTX.

That's probably one of the most common paint colours for JDM FC's.

what is the point of this thread... it looks like just a bragging thread... I see no piont even asking what the car is worth if you are not selling it.

Looks like someone just needs their ego helped, or to justify a purchase...

Kinda sad actually

well although it may seem like a "bragging" thread as icemark so marrily put it, its not... just wanted to share the love(period) ... and there was a fellow that stopped by my house(never seen him before in my life) actually made my mom wake me out of bed so he could make an offer on the car... he was willing to give me 10,000cdn the next day, but i told him it wasnt for sale.... so this explains the reason for me asking the experts what the price was... cuz i was kinda blown away when he offered me 2wice what i payed

getbent69 : there are seatbelts there tucked away in thos little pockets you see if you look close

Hmmm, I just didn't think it was all that nice...

I mean its okay, but it is just a pretty much stock turbo with a 2+2 rear seat.

Guess, I am missing what is so nice about it???

Maybe if it was an Infini, or something other than just a base-level Japanese car I might have a higher opinion on it.

Maybe because there are so many ghetto FC's out there (including my old '87 TII) that its nice to see a nice, clean, and near stock one.
