It'd be nice if it were done right and finnished. I've seen tremendously worse. The only thing that really offends me about that is why on earth would you put hood scoop on it that looks like a recently use cooter?

I for one, kind of dig that style, except the color is a little odd, and the wing is a bit much. I wouldn't dream of doing this to my baby, but I like it. I did have trouble with some of the photos...

I think someone put a lot of time, effort and money into the car, and I can commend and respect them for that.

However, my personal opinion is that it is very, very ugly and poorly done.

Starting with the rear, there is far too much empty space. If you look at the stock FC you will see that the rear is made up of horizontal lines. The bottom and middle of the bumper, then the lines in the trim, then the top of the bumper, bottom and top of the taillights (and taillights themselves for S4), top of the rear, then hatch glass and the top of that. Removing the lines makes it look like somewhat of an old pickup or modern Supra where you just see a mass of flat metal. Looking at the taillights, they are far too small. The taillights have always been an important feature of any year of RX-7. With the exception of the SA, the lights have always stretched across the entire rear of the car to help maintain the lines that I mentioned. The lights used here are just way too small and are totally dwarfed by the rest of the rear (especially the exhaust....note: if your exhaust is bigger then your taillights, you have issues). The metal panel welded in place to cover the stock taillight area is also clearly visible in the paint. Not enough prep time was spent to mold it into the body, and the metallic paint brings it out very obviously. The bumper is also bent and warped, as well as the surrounding metal.

I've never seen a good looking body kit, so I think I'll leave that alone. This kit, like all others, totally rapes the lines of the car. The FC was never about wings, splitters, spoilers, vents, etc.

The wheels are HUGE, and very little prep was done around the wheel well area because the distortions in the body are clearly visible. With metallic paint, prep is vitally important. I learned that in a hurry when my car was repainted after an accident (I too have distortions around my rear wheel wells).

My Supra called, and it wants it's wing back.

As for the hood scoop, I'm not sure what it's supposed to accomplish. Car is an NA, and even it it was a TII, that scoop wouldn't be enough to bring air to the intercooler. The shape of the scoop can't really be found on any other part of the car, so it's kind of an anomaly.

The flatness of the front bumper goes with the flatness of the rear, but I have always thought that cars with big flat areas out front look very, very slow. After all, if you want to go fast, you don't want to push a barn door through the air. The see through characteristic of the bumper also doesn't really help, especially when there's no intercooler to see.
