What do you like best about your RX-7?

Mine would have to be the power I have on tap. When I take my friends for a ride, they always are trying to get me to step on it. I like to **** them off and ***** foot it around, saying that I don't feel like going fast today. lol that usually pisses them off so much, they end up wanting to get out. I also love how sexy it looks, and how it gets confused with a 944 porsche.

What do you guys like about your cars the best?

trick question! i like everything! if i had to pick id say its the uniquness of the rotary and the "total package" of the carmeaning that it is good at all aspects of performance, not just going fast in a strait line.

Its so hard to put it into one thing.

I have to say the AMOUNT of car you get for the money. Get one in decent condition, for 3K (good exterior/interior) and you have a bad *** car for the money. Its a "best buy" type thing.

As far as the physical car itself.. I just LOVE the body shape. I just go outside sometimes, look at the shape... get down real low and stare down its nose... Just a sexy car

I like it because it's the best ******* car ever built.

We can all agree with that. Who else can beat affordable performance than with an RX7?

I've only had mine for a month, but I've only driven it like 6 times, but I've driven a handful of FBs and FCs and there is nothing else like the rotary.

My FC is stock, other than a single pipe 2.5" conversion with a 5Zigen muffler, and baby, for an NA,does she ever move. 100kmh in 2nd gear is insane. This car has such a broad powerband....it's insane.

And I like the fact there's only room for me and one other annoying person. That way I don't have to taxi around 3 annoying people.

I would say because it is different. rotary rather than piston. its inovative and nobody know what the hell you are talking about.

I think its too hard to pinpoint one thing. Sometimes I'll be walking away from it and just look back and think to myself "god I love that car."(that happens a lot after I park it in the garage and I go to turn the light off) Or i'll just be driving along casually and press the throttle down a little more than I should and its just the greatest experiance in the world hearing the turbo spool and being thrown back into your seat.

Its just fun to drive! Like you look outside and see it sitting out there and you just have the urge to go drive it! Not to mention the look on people's faces when you tell them it has no pistons...

"What's in there? A 4banger or a V6"

"Actually no pistons...it has 2 rotors"

"2 WHAT?"

"Rotors, no pistons here"

"Whatever man (walks back to his civic )"

It's the single most beautiful car I've ever owned. Not that it has much competition. It's a sports car. I love that aspect. And no effing rear seat.

lol,I was at a scrap yard today buying a battery for my Celica, and I told the guy that the battery will also need to fit in an RX7 and he's like 'oh,I've got an '83 out in the yard. It would make a good parts car.' Then I told him I work at CP and he was like 'I heard those rotaries aren't evry reliable' and I'm like 'no,they're awesome if you know how to take care of them' and he comes back and says 'ah,I hate those ******* things. So much trouble.' lol. idiot.

The best part is when people think it's a 4 cylinder,or you tell them it's 1.3L and they're like 'oh,it's slow as ****' and such.

*sigh* I love these damn cars.

I guess my real favorite aspect is when I tell my friends that my car is faster, and then they say, "Well goddamn it's an RX-*******-7, what do you expect?"

I also love it because I have the fastest car at my school.

Well, even with my Celica I had the fastest car (after my friend totalled his modded 94 Prelude).

Yea the 1.3 liter thing is awesome!! But hey they say there is no replacement for displacement...well what about when 1.3L RX7s tear up 5.0L mustangs? yea WHAT NOW !!!!

Anyway I forgot to mention the whole 80s sports car theme of these cars...its just awesome! Like you get into a eclipse or something, yea they are fast (the turbo ones anyway), but they don't have that sports car feel to them like the RX7 does. It's hard to explain but you can just tell this car is made to go fast when you get in. Also it impresses the ladies and makes the civic boys drool when they see a REAL sports car!

I like it because it's an all-around package. It's not as fast in a straight line as my other car, but it handles SO much better it's not even funny. Even with the improved handling over my other car, the ride is not bad at all, and the sound/feel of a rotory is pretty dang cool (not to mention the feel of the turbo). I could go on and on, but so far I pretty much love everything about it

Well there is this slightly modded 1G DSM at my school but most of the kids there have like "pimped out" rides, (meaning $20 set of walmart chrome hubcaps on an 80s oldsmobile ) not many people are into speed. Most people my age are still into all show and no go but from the get-go I have been mostly go and a little show, but since I found the RX7 the show is all taken care of, and the go is what I work on . Anyway im sure once I get my TurboII it will dominate that 1G DSM hahahaha!

What do I like best?

The big smile on my face when I toss it into a corner at speeds that would make most people grab hold of something and begin to pray.

It's also nice when nothing's broken.

RX7's are just incredibily fun to drive....I don't think any stock car short of a ferrari, porshe 911, etc... will out handle an RX7. I think the thing I love best is how I can feel every little bump in the road....thats true sportscar. of course the uniqueness of the rotary is great. and I like how they are so light....not many cars are much lighter.

It's a rare, one of a kind sports car. And to me, that's enough.

Please be kind to your Mazda and remember, everytime you ********** god kills another Rx-7

The sound and smoothness of our engines. The uniqueness of owning one. Oh yeah, like PHATFC3S, just by sound I know when its a rotary engine and even when I hear one starting up too.

Otherwise, bang for buck value. Personally, the MR2 comes very close as well in terms of handling and fun factor but its just too slow for me and the power potential is not there (for NA's)
