Hell yeah man! they make your car really fast. I had one on mt tii before the turbo and myboost doubled. Think about it. My turbo made 8psi full boost before I added this and now it feeds the turbo boosted air. So 2psi before the turbo x 8psi the turbo makes = 16psi!!! And they used it on a FD and it made crazy flames .

16 psi boost on a stock turbo huh? Sounds like a stock turbo that is about to explode...

Can't work. It's cr@p.

That looks like the heater blower on my old Austin mini. Some guy was dismantling cheapass leaf blowers and selling a similar deal a few years back.

At best it will move about 200 cfm but I doubt it would generate more than a fraction of a pound of boost. A 1.3L rotary sucks in about 900 CFM at redline. This device would have to add an additional 900 cfm to improve performance in any way.

There is a really good but very technical writeup about supercharging and turbos out there. I'll search around to see if I can find it.

(I decided to beat the flamers to this) 2 psi boost X 8 psi boost does not equal 16psi boost (or even close.) Please let me explain:

Atmospheric pressure is 14.5-14.7 psi (most places) We will call it 15 psi. Thus 2 psi boost equals 17 psi absolute. 8 psi is about half of 15, thus the turbo is multiplying by about 1.5 17psi (which is generous.) multiplied by 1.5 (also generous.) will give a grand total of 25.5 psi (which is about 10-11 psi boost.) Using exact numbers (14.5 psi for atmospheric) we get 11.1 psi << 16psi.

You had the right idea, the numbers are multiplied, but only as absolute pressures, not as boosts.

Now for the electric supercharger:
Power required = Q (flowrate) X P (pressure change)
n (efficiency)

We will call the fan 80% efficient (if we are lucky.)

If we are flowing 900 cfm (15 f3/s) at 2 psi (288 lbf/f2) We get 4320 lbf.ft/s
This is 7.85 Horsepower. After including the efficiency, this will draw about 10 horsepower (7.5 kW) of electricity.

Now, at 14.4 Volts, this works out to be about 500 Amps of current. The alternator is rated at 65 Amps, does anyone smell anything rotten here?

(For comparison, the RX7 has a 1.2 kW starter motor.)

(That is really a lot of technical jargon to say that this 'supercharger' does not do what it says it does.)

lol I REALLY hope Turbo II Rotor was kidding.

these may be the single most retarded thing I've ever seen; it's a fan to suck air into the engine that takes more power than it adds.
