Okay i have been looking for a long time for an affordable headlight conversion and instead i found this for $500.00 shipping included, what do u guys think? it looks like the entire front dam doesn't run flush with the fenders and it says it has to be installed by an auto body do u guys think its worth it?

I think it would look pretty sweet if it had 2 on each side instead of one, like the integra, but like that, it looks somewhat gay, and annoys me to look at it.

 

i thinkink that too and i called to talk to the company to see if they could just sell me the headlight assemblies and im waiting for the call back, the tech told me that the actual likght is left intact.

 

so are you just trying to do sumthing different or do you like actually hate the pop-ups.....kuz personally i love 'em..!

 

i just want something alittle differnt

yeah those are the words i was lacking!..haha

see for me i was content with taking off the ugly S4 bumper and putting on....with more moding than you think!....my meshed S5.....looks great though check out the address in my signature

 

Id Im not mistaken, that was a bumper that a forum member here made. It was molded from a Z32 (newer 300ZX) front bumper.. I personally think it looks very nice, other than Id like to keep the pop-ups. Maybe you can just cut those headlight panels off?

 

With the spaces off the sides of the bumper, it looks like it would only be part of a wide body kit where you would need fenders to match too.

It would need major fatty fender flares. (even then it would STILL be ugly)

 

cut off that 2 holes on the front bumper and put a 3rd gen sleek light on it it'll look sick

 

Save up $500 more and get the RE copy

 

the website says for use with stock fenders though thats whats throwing me off

Yeah, that probably wouldn't be too bad. Maybe something like the projector headlights on the new STi WRX??? It's just not feasible putting round things on a squarish car... Perhaps on an FD it'd look a little better. (Not the ones in the picture though)
