This isnt in reference to really anybody, but out of all the forums I got for the cars i have (97 eclipse, 88 fiero gt) This is the most unfriendly forum I have meant. I mean granted there are a ton of guys and girls that would give their left nut to help but their are some on here that are just total ******. Just my two cents

I agree. 90% of posts are somewhat redundant. In every one you get someone who posts "see that search button at the top?" If their time is SOOO valuable why do they post a complaint? If you don't like the thread DON'T REPLY.

If people would use the search feature, 90% of the posts wouldn't be redundant .

Next thing you know, there's redundant posts about people complaining about others telling them to try using the search feature.

After that, people will start searching for you. Instead of replying with a typed answer, they'll just post links to the redundant threads.

Maybe each month the system should automatically start the redundant threads for us :p.

At 12:01am at the beginning of each month, threads will automatically started like:
NA to turbo upgrade?
What wheel size?
What ignition kit?
What exhaust is best?
Can I get 200+ NA hp?
With my mods, can I beat a _______?
What's up with my idle?
Is my engine blown?
How do I unflood?
What's the ATF trick?
How much boost can I run?
Should I buy it?
Check out the pic of this _______
Does anyone make a chip upgrade?

And the list goes on and on .

Maybe not meaner...but..

of course your going to get the same posts over and over since new people come here all the time. The meanest thing to do (over telling people to search for it) is for everyone to view the topic, but not post any replies onto it, leaving the person blank. Asking if your car can beat a ____ w/ mods is sometimes a big rediculous...why not just go out and race them and see? its no fun to only race when you win is it? Even when i have my 'little' street brawls, if i lose it still gives me as great an adrenaline rush then if i win. asking real questions about potential problems or repeated upgrades that need to be spelled out a bit more should be fine...I dunno, i always feel like my questions arent good enough if they're not answered...if your gonna sign in, your either tryin to solve a question, get an opinion, or give help usually right? So why be mean about it, we all didnt buy these cars knowing 100% about them....well..thats MY $.02...

Thumbs up

I truly use the search engine when I have a question, but If I cant find exactly what im looking for or need a fresh idea I will ask a question. Also I always game to seeing pics, that to me never gets old.

I don't mind answering redundant questions, but IMO the search feature is a faster way to get an answer.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but it's been a bit boaring here since the weather turned cold. If we had 10% of the number of threads there'd be 2 a day. The board would close down and we wouldn't have it. Redundant posts keep increased hits and thus justify the existance of this place. (obviously there's added costs, but that's not my problem ) Most people don't have a kick *** form like this one!
