What to do next, FMIC or Turbo upgrade.

Alright guys, I need some advice.

I want to get some more power out of my Turbo Convertible and want your opinions on the best way to get it. I was thinking about getting a FMIC and upping the boost on the stock turbo, OR upgrading my turbo with some sort of Hybrid. I can't afford to do both at the same time, so I have to choose one or the other for now. The rest of my mods are listed in my sig. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks for your ideas in advance.

get the intercooler first, anyone will tell you that. You could get the turbo upgraded but you'd still need a fmic to get all the power out of it. I'd get front mount, wideband, turbo + fuel.

From: Rancho Cucamonga Ca,
Putting a FMIC on now doesn't seem like it will net me much more power(the point of my thread). I think I might gain a few horses, but wouldn't it mainly just increase my margin of saftey when turning up the boost? Why upgrade the intercooler if I'm already maxing out the turbo at 14psi. If I upgrade the turbo first, I think I would be able to put down alot more power at lower boost levels, and at lower boost levels I wouldn't need a FMIC as bad. I think that a hybrid would be able to put out substantially more power at 10psi than my stock turbo makes at 14psi, and at 10psi with a hybrid I think my TMIC would still be ok.(?)
When I get tired of running 10psi on my hybrid then I can start saving for a FMIC, as well as some more fuel upgrades. I might be way off hear, so let me know what you think.

intercooler first........that way you'll be ready for the turbo in the future instead of buying a turbo and then waiting to get an FMIC. If you get the turbo and you do not have proper cooling then you will have wasted all that cash.....think straight and realize that it's prolly not worth it to risk destroying the turbo. that's what I would do/AM DOING....

Intercooler first. It won’t help you gain much, but with all the upgrades you can just think of it as a reliability precaution. Your really limited with the top mount, because it really doesn’t cool the air down properly and you will run the risk of blowing you motor. Keep it cool, do the front mount.
