what to do with my broken 7 :(

so i blew my rear rotor apex seals. now i have a 7 sitting in my garage. the body has 177,000 miles on it, and it shows. its rusty, and dented. its an 87 NA. the motor needs a rebuild to work again. i am moving out of my moms house soon, so i don't really have time or money right now to work on it. i wish i did tho. my personal rx7 goal is to build up a nice turbo in a decent shell to have fun with. i am going to be going to school for auto body. what should i do?
should i part out my POS, and save the money toward my eventual turbo car? should i keep the shell, fix it, and wait for the money to get a T2 motor setup? should i rebuild the motor as cheap as possible, then sell the car?
sorry if this seems like a sob story, im just lookin for opinions.
thanks guys.
mazda ppl are some of the best ppl in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well since you're in Minnesota, I would imagine that the majority of what's holding your 7 together are clumps of rust holding hands......so I would consider parting out the interior pieces and some of the internal engine parts and save up for a TII....it's cheaper in the long run than doing a n/a-TII swap. My $.02

Partout till you are financially more stable.

then get that nice T2 you want. With a normal income a T2 is a very affordable car, with a so so job and school and rent etc. Its a night mare.

If there isn't a problem keeping it in moms garage, keep it.
Since youre going to school for auto body, try to make your car a 'class project' at some point in time.
A total tear down and restore (FOR FREE).
At the same time be looking for a new or re-built motor or some freinds in the engine repair class to re-build it.
Maybe re-build the whole car for cheap, then look to trade a 'frame up restoration' FC for a TII.
Maybe the engine shop could do a bonus project and add a turbo.
You'd have to pay for all the parts and get the attention of the instructors first.
My 2 cents.
Good Luck!
