I have my friend dropping off a turbo II tranny later today since my NA tranny blew the other day, but I want to make sure everything is going to work okay.
It would be an 88 turboII tranny on my 91 NA, so what parts would I need for this to work if its not just a direct fit?
I need this done cheap as possible cause I have no job and need to borrow from some family members :/

 

You will need a S5 TII flywheel, pressure plate, and clutch disc.

 

And a TII slave cylinder, TII starter, S5 TII crossmember and custom driveshaft or TII rear end. This topic has been beaten to death.

 

basically the whole TII drivetrain or go to place online like mazda trix and get there custom driveshaft for the conversion.

 

Well, turns out that what we thought was a TII tranny was an FD tranny.. whoopsie lol.
So we found a GXL transmission, and my friend told me all I would need is the clutch for that to work. Besides bolting a few of my parts onto it and the clutch, its a direct fit. So I should be alright, sorry for being a repeat offender haha.
