you can get underdrive pulleys, headers. actually, Racing Beat sells a Header/Presilencer package. you should check it out.

I was about to suggest lighter wheels and better tires. The BBS convertible rims are 15x6.5 and only 15.5 lbs... and look good on there. You ARE 5-lug, right?

Do you have LSD? If not, I'd look at that next. Also, the 4.3 gears from a GTUs would help a bit. (Best is to just find a 4.3 GTUs diff and swap the whole thing... IF you can find one...)

A Mustang AFM and S-AFC MIGHT be good... but I haven't tried this out just yet.

Go racing.. Once it thaws out, I'm sure you can find auto-xs in your area. It's a timed event held in parking lots, where you can push the car to it's potential instead of buying stuff to buy stuff. Stop f'ing with the car, go have fun with the car.

But if you HAVE to buy something.

5 lug conversion and 4 piston front brakes from a GXL
Rear differential from an 86-88 GXL (LSD equipped)
Racing Beat Header
Urethane Bushings
Toe Eliminator Bushing
Headlight Cover intake thingie
Paint it (if it needs it)

But it's still slow straight line, I don't care if you do all that or not. You want speed, big ported motor or T2. Period. Sorry if that offends some of you, but that's my opinion. 14s is slow. 13s is slow. 12s is getting there, 11s for a true street car is doing good.

Cya!
