I use an Efini key for my FC...had a local hardware store cut it correctly. First they need to make they key a TAD thinner as it's a bit fat to fit in the doors (ignition was fine though). Then they cut it properly with a copy of my original...worked well.

A friend of mine found an OE key in the junkyard and it was almost the exact key I had except for a few bumps...So I brought it to the dealer and had them recut the key. It's not a perfect key because I have to fiddle with the locks but it opens everything!

So Mark; say the locks to my car have been changed. All I have is the valet key. Could they look @ the valet key and get me the key to the rest of the locks?

MtnRacer: The 10th AE key does have a nifty logo on it. The little rotary badge like it has on the fender, the pic there is just like the back of the key where it's all white with the mazda symbol in silver or gold, I can't remember which. This is a pic of one from somewhere on the forum.. Luckily mine is still white instead of yellowed out.
