What Color Should I Paint the Vert?

Well, a couple months ago i ran into an incident where an ex-girlfriend's jealous boyfriend got mad that i visited her at her job... Not wanting a confrontation since i was a couple days away from moving, i walked away. I came back later to find out that he keyed up my car all over the place and ripped the convertible top... I called the police on him and they arrested him. Now, the insurance company is gonna take care of the paint job and a new top while he pays for the damages... Thing is, if i can get the whole car painted... What color should i get it painted?

It's currently brilliant black, but i was thinking of going with either gunmetal or innocent blue mica... What do you guys think? I already have the paint code for i.b.m., but i really want to get it done in gunmetal or a color close to it, anyone know the paint code for it? Did search already and couldn't find it.

I would go black. I seriously doubt the Ins. Co. is going to spring for a color change. But ALL those dings: MAKE THEM PAY!

In Fla you still thinking about black? A pearl white would look great and be cooler to boot.

Black, then it will still match the engine bay, door frames and edges, etc.

i say get a black cloth top from robbins, and spray your car the deepest black possible...black is hard to paint because easy to see the imperfections...or so i hear.

my white vert is gonna get a pearl white paint with blue pearl flakes in it, while the cloth top is from robbins instead of a vynil one. i bought a wide body kit, ground effect kit and a whole bunch of cosmetic parts for the car. but i am not interested in raciing her...if i want to race i break out the Acura NSX! rather....my vert its my sunday cruiser under the sun

oh i know its not a crap job from somewhere.. its the same place my mother took her mustang lx to get it fixed from an accident... came out looking brand new... on second thought, i think i might keep it black.. just looking at the pics of my vert makes me miss it enough and it does look great in black. thanks for all your suggestions, people.

Paint it black with house of kolor cosmic titanium metal flake! Hell yeah. People who "key" cars should be publicly executed! What kind of ***** takes their agression out on a man's car, when they could just voice their opinion to my face and get beat retarded like the visor wearing fubu on a white guy shirt having scum bag they are, I'd rip out his spine like the predator and howl! Wait, was that out loud, um Black metal flake.

Black with a quality metal flake. Get the door jambs to. I have an 89 vert black on black as well and I was thinking of a deep yellow. I have never seen a yellow vert, so I figured my **** would be unique. Would be a royal pain in the ***.
