what is the cheapest way to rebuild a 13b if i do all the labor?
it has come to this, i must rebuild my engine but funding as usual is limited. friends have tried to persuade me to just drop a 350 in, but im holding strong onto rotory. what is the cheapest way to rebuild my 88 gtu's engine.
Get the video from Atkins and do it yourself.
It's not that hard if you have the basic tools, and only a couple of custom ones (depending on how deep your wanting to rebuild).

you can get by with apex seals(hurley 2pc 2mm are teh cheapest at under $200 shipped), corner seal plugs($17.50) and the gasket kit. In fact, you dont HAVE to have that if you are careful taking it apart, but you MUST replace the water seals. You can get a 12a gasket kit with the seals in it for half what a 86+ kit costs. OR, if you can find somewhere to sell you JUST the 8 water seals then buy those, and that's the BARE minimum required. You;'ll have about $350-400 in it. DOnt expect it to last over 3 or 4 more years though.
