What can I do next?

Well I've gone auttocrossing about three times this season and have imprived my time consistantly. Yesterday I was aroung 1 second off the leader. I want to see what mod I can do excluding serious motor work and for less than 400.00 the mod should give low end power enough to take a second off my time. Below is the list of what is already done to my RX check it out and let me know if anyone has any ideas... Thanks..

RB Headers
High Flow Cat
Cat back W/custom suppertrapps to add backpressure (Belive it or not I had a friend time me with and without them and they actualy help)
Flex a Lite Black magic radiator fan
Underdrive pully
Apex I Intake
Tokico 5 Way
Tokick Springs
Mazdatrix Strut bar (the one that connects to the firewall)
Mazdatrix engine torque brace
Corabu Racing seats (make it feel faster )
Interior is stripped no radio nothing( who knows why? I think it makes it look moe like a race car )

Tires are a good idea!!

Racing school, if you haven't already.

If you are autocrossing, Low end torque should not be an issue. You should be in a gear (2nd) at high revs for 99% of the time anyway!!

2nd gear and high reves is where i'm at that's not low end but i figures if i had more low end off the line then i'd shave something off my time. As far as slicks go should i be increasing my rim size as well, Im on stock 15's in my 91 rex , and which slicks are best

Try a set of 4.30 final gears. Cost might be a bit more than $400, but will help with accelleration. You can find more info here: http://www.rx7.com/cgi-local/2catalog.cgi?cat=2&part=6
