what can I do for $900

ok guys, say I had $900 to spend on my car.
i've got an '86 n/a GT, and I'm curious to know what I can do with $900 to get more performance out of it without having to sell it and buy a turbo model (looked for one, but can't find any for under$9,000CA).

Exhaust. That will be the biggest increase in power.
Check out Racing Beat.

I've already got a cheater pipe in to cut out 3 out of the 4 cats, and I'll be ordering a racing beat header within the next week along with making my own intake for it soon. I'm an aircraft structural repair technician so I deal with a lot of composite materials so I think I might build a cold airbox out of carbon fiber along with a small intake....

I personally would convert it to a turbo.....flame suit is on....It costed me a little over a grand to do it, and holy hell there is no way you can compare the before and after. But if you want to keep it NA I would have to say to get a catback system, and a wet nitrous kit.

It would cost more than a grand to add a turbo unless you had one lying around which most people don't.

Also how much boost were you able to go? Don't the N/A's have higher compression rotors? Or was it s4 and s5 have different compression. I always get those mixed up.

I know a guy that made his own manifold and is running about 5psi ,but he had just put it on and was testing it.

I'd go with full exhaust, intake, etc. Then if its not enough get a N20 kit set up. Might also be interested in an s-afc. What are your goals?
