What is the best Battery

First off my car wont start when it sits overnight, it needs a jump, i have gone through multiple batterys, I now have a AutoZone battery, the gold one, it is suppousely the best one that they have, besides the Optima ones. The battery does not hold a charge very well, i have drained it a few times already so i think that it is on its way out. My alternator is new so that is not the problem. I think that i will probly just got with the optima one. What do you guys suggest? What battery are you running?
Also I had the battery tested a few days ago and they said it was good

Thanks
Dan

Optima fine. I have a Die Hard. I replaced the original in 1995, so the Die Hard has been in there almost 9 years.
If your having the battery discharge overnight, or after a short period of time, better get the meter out and check for a drain when the car is off.

The only reason this thread is not being moved is because your problem is probably not the battery.

Sounds like you have a current draw situation or are using the stereo until the battery is dead.

So... what battery really has nothing to do with it, unless this is the 2nd or third battery in 10 years.

Typically most aftermarket batteries last about 5 years.
