What am I missing here? Cruise actuator mount question.
Everything was going smoothly on my cruise control project when suddenly I seemed to run out of bolt holes.
The car I'm using is a 1988 SE NA. That's the completely total base model and while everyone swears to god that a T2 S4 to base NA S4 cruise swap is plug and play, I guess I am just missing something on the three backet nuts for the cruise actuator.
It's the most frustrating thing in the world. I alligned the actuator to fit with Aaron Cake's pictures in his write up for this (This of course means that I have *seen his cruise control write up already and if one more person sends me a link to it I will scream*) and when I go straight down... I'm only seeing one bolt hole. Now this bolt hole goes into the arm with only *one* mount. Questions that have come to mind range from the possibility of my bracket being bent, to me not taking something out that I should have taken out; and perhaps there are bolt holes behind, I dunno, the sub zero resevoir?
Will some one... please please please just take a digital camera, aim it straight down at a right angle behind their front right strut tower, and take a picture as the installer sees it?
