Hey i'm new to this forum and i got my FC about 2 weeks ago in seattle and live in montana. i was wondering if you need to change out the driveline. lsd and axles in order to do the turbo swap. with the turbo tranny, and if they match up to my N/A set up. or if i will have to mount the diff in a different manner. my friend is buying one and doing the swap soon and i just want to inform not only myself but also him before he goes and buys a j spec motor and tranny before he findes out he needs a new drive train. thanx ( i know it has probably already been talked about but i couldn't find it during my research on this forum.) these RX7's are awesome vehicles and am glad to have one.

 

im doing the swap right now. yup if your going with a turbo motor your going to need axles, drive-shafts, diff , tranny, and an american spec wiring harness. thats everything that i found out so far. have someone thats dones this befor with you.

You don't need to change the driveline but if you plan on driving hard it's going to be necessary in most cases.
