what is this?

Well I was connecting the remaining wires for my conversion and I found this by the spark plugs just hanging. I have no idea what it is or where it goes...

Looks like it could be an Accelerated Warm-up System (AWS) solenoid valve, but it is not exactly like the one on my S5. Photos from a couple of sides without the vegetation would help and also let us know what car you have.

I have a 1986 rx7 it is undergoing a TII conversion though. But I don't know if this came off the engine or from somewhere else in the engine bay. I just found it hanging. I don't know if it was from the old N/A engine or from this TII engine. All I know is that there wires attached to it and it looks important. LOL

That is indeed the AWS.

Most likely it has been removed and the holes in the manifold plugged. If this is the case, then you can leave it as is.
