Ok, my TII was spraying oil all over the engine bay so I take some stuff apart and find this little piece split in half, anyone know what it is ? also when I snapped it back together and started the car the exhaust smoke pretty bad until the piece split again. Any help would be appreciated.

 

purge valve I think, I broke mine too!

 

I know what it looks like & where it is, just can't think of what it could possibly do.

 

where did you go to get a new one when yours broke?

 

 

Yep, that's the purge valve - you should be able to find one used VERY easily. They rarely go bad, save being broken, and are the same (as far as I know) on every 2nd gen. I know I've probably thrown out a pile of 'em.
