WET! interior

My carpet interior behind/under my seats are always wet for some reason. (not Drenching wet but when you touch the carpet, its very moist) Do you know why this occurs and how to stop my floor from erroding?

Do you have a convertible? If so then it's the top leaking. Otherwise it may be a leak in your heater core.

You can get alot of leaks where the top meets the windows because the weatherstripping is crappy. A quick fix is to buy rubberized foam insulation from Home Depot. I get 3/4" wide weatherstripping. You just put it on the top where it mates to the windows.

Holes can usually be patched up. They make vinyl repair kits. You can also go to an upholstery shop. They can help you out.

My car had a similar problem but mine is a hardtop.
When I picked up my car last november, it snowed and the seatbelts were frozen. Since then my belts will get wet if the car has been sitting in rain for over 2 days.

any tips?

dude, you post a question asking why your car is wet, then later you post about having holes in the roof.

no office but you couldn't think of the answer yourself???

Usually small tears in the top won't cause a leak. He also didn't say where they were. The window/top seal is where his leak is occurring.
