Were to Tap

Just bought some spi guages for my T2. Were do I tap for the Temp sender? The filler neck? Or is there an easier way? Also If you have pics that would be

That looks easier than what I was thinking. I guess I'll have to buy a tap kit and drill.

no need to buy a tap kit. i didn't tap mine that's why i just drilled a hole and JB welded it.
