Went to the track last night...

14.25@97.54--no traction throughout all of 1st. I iced down the intercooler, and pushed it up to the line with an icepack on the airbox. 2.2 60-ft also--See mods in sig.

I went to Houston Raceway Park, I try and stay away from the street races like that--too dangerous. Are you involved in the houston RX7 club, I'd really like to meet up w/ some other gen2 guys around here but i havent been able to find any .

well your 60ft time was a lil high due to your no traction in first. if you would have done a better 60ft. im guessing you could have got down to 14.1

as far as your next upgrades how much boost were you running on the 14.2? not sure guessing 13.7-9

your car? um well you have more mods then dcamco has and if your equally as good im guessing consistent 13.9-14.00's and maybe better depending on you.

Most boost I hit on the 14.2 was probably 9psi--so how much are 3 more pounds good for?

Someone once told me 1lb of boost was good for 15-20 hp. I do not know for sure if hes right.

Next time you go to the track let me know I'll go. I just moved to houston about a month ago. I've just heard about raken road, but I bet noting but alot of ricer go there anyways. I've only seen 1 rx7 in houston, but a **** load of 300zx and a couple of supras driving around. As far as a RX-7club didn't even know houston had a rx-7 club dam!! Did you have any trouble puting on your header? I'm puting my on right now, but the ******* stud broke half way from the block damit!!!!!, then I put a stud remover on it and it still would not break lose, which should have got it. Then I tried a pipe wrech still would not brake lose, next, I welded a bolt to the stud, had a good weld and every thing, broke again!!!! Now, I guess drill and tap sucks!!! Does any one else have any bright Ideals, on how to get this stud out?

Nice time. That's a big difference since your last run. I also used to go to the Houston Rx7 club meets. Unfortunately, There would only be 2 or 3 other 2nd gens and like 10 or 15 FD's. The FD guys wouldn't even attempt to talk to me, so after a few meets, I just bailed.

hey drift--you know anyone around the area with a t2? There is a guy i know with a blue supra (yoshi--maybe ya know him) who has a friend with an fd who apparently has a friend with an FC. I'd really like to hook up w/ another fc guy for some cruising, and mod help. Maybe we can setup an RX7 track date sometime at HRP??
