went to the drag strip tonite...

So me and a lot of friends went up to the all night drags and i was excited becuase i really wanted to know what i run. i got there watched a few people then decided to go for a run. i get to the line and im shaking like a freak and my first ever LEAGAL run was a 14.9 at 94.8 MPH. i got so shitty of the launch. ive never raced on one befour so i just did the same thing as i do in the streets and wow. i just put 255's on the back to thinking that would help me with traction but no way.

So i thought ill try slippin the clutch. wrong answer again. this time it was a 15.1 at 94.9 MPH. after this i was pissed and went on the street and did a launch and it was perfect. is it just all that rubber on the track from the slicks why i cant get traction??

BTW is that a good trap speed?

Looking at the trap speed, you had a pretty poor 60' time. And that rubber from slicks means you have MORE traction at the track. Just need to launch properly.
