What do you mean by "snapped"? You may have just broke the mount. How exactly did this happen? Were you dropping it at 7000 rpms? How much power you puttin down? Any nitrous?

As for a rex differential, any n/a will work. If you are seroius about racing, buy a full TII drivetrain (tranny, driveshaft, rear diff, halfshafts). It is waaayyyy stronger. I saw one guy selling his for $600 bucks for everything! Or just find a wrecked GTUs, and get the LSD out of it.

The LSD unit from a Miata will bolt right in, and is goot for 300 hp/275 ft/lbs of torque. Should be plenty strong for a n/a engine. If you broke your ring and pinion, PM me, I have an extra 4.1 ring and pinion sitting on my desk from my wrecked 89 GTU.

BTW, Please tell me exactly what you broke when you find out. I dont want the same thing to happen to me in a couple of weeks when I get a good clutch and go to the strip.

All of the miatas had an LSD *option*. Most of the 90-93 ones did not come with a LSD. After that, they LSD's came on more models standard. From 94 on, *most* of the non-base model Miatas had a LSD. Node has a more detailed list of what models came with them, etc.

Did you change your AIM SN of what? IM me, af24179 I have a diff torn completely apart, and Ill send you some pics over AIM of what it should be like.
