WHY?&nbsp Are you going to turn it into a dedicated drag car???&nbsp Welded diffs don't belong on the street or in any application where you have to turn, regardless of what some other dumbass says...

It's dangerous to try and turn with a welded diff in the rear.&nbsp You're either going to kill yourself or kill someone else trying to turn.&nbsp At the very least, you're going to kill your rear tires...

I just read you referring to the front difff mount in another thread...
WHen you mention "welding the rear end", that usually means you want to weld the diff solid for most people.

Thumbs up That's the way to go!

I did it on mine after breaking 3 stock ones at the drags.

To weld the front mount on the diff:
1) lower the diff. This is tricky, you will learn the tricks, don't pull the nuts completly off the subframe, just back them all the way out and pry it all down so it still is held up.
2) find the mount and remove it. Thank God for swivels.
3) take some steel flat bar and "BOX" the mount in so its solid.
4) install and enjoy. it won't make any more noise than stock. and it won't break on a hard launch.
