Weird problem (typical title)

I've tried to research this but...nothing.

Has anyone ever heard of running bad with full coolant.

well long story short i bought this 87 turbo II and it had a horrible idle 1000 to 4000 rev up and down. Well i changed the coolant and had about a quart short. I ran it maybe a mile the car was running amazing no more rev problem. No misses. NOTHING. Just ran like a beast. filled it back up. back to its old problems except now it cuts out horribly at 3k and wont rev past for like 6 seconds. Blows a huge flame then takes off.

Mods are:

Emissions delete. (block off plates)
3.5 inch full hks exaust
cone intake.
I think stock turbo...not sure
No a/c. or heat either

nobody?

does the fc have an accelerated warmup like the fd?

this could be completely wrong but if my car wont heat up quick enough w/o a thermostat. could this cause the car to act like this. I have a video of what it was doing if you''d like to see it.

The FC does have the accelerated warm up but it goes for about 6 seconds at 3000. Then it drops down to about 1200 more or less as it warms up the engine. Eventually, should go down to 750 for normal idle. Your car BTW will never heat up without a thermostat, that is what keeps the engine temperature.
The only time I've ever really heard of running bad with coolant would be a worn seal where the coolant is leaking in somewhere (Typical blown-engine seal problem). Check your coolant to see if it has traces of burnt carbon within it

i had a few problems but then it was nothing like this.. mines reved about 3k then it dropped.. but i just cleaned out my throttle body and cleaned out my intake area.. also changed my fuel pump, and fuel fillter.. then that did the trick.. i found out that the carb build up in the intake area was screwing me up and then the fuel pump was not pumping right because the fuel filter was jamed up with junk.. so i changed it and it ran fine.. just do a good tune up and it might just help up.. but that is what i did..
