Weird problem :-/

Tonight I was driving my car threw town, and all of a sudden i lose power, I give it some gas and tach it up to 3k and it sputters, and makes NO power...I pull over into a gas station turn it off, look under the hood, everything seems fine, my gauges were fine, oh yeah, when it started sputtering my check engine light came on :-/...Anyways, I start my car again, everything is fine. I drive over to meet my friend and some ladies and we head over to the restaurant...All of a sudden it does the same thing except at 4k. I pull over, turn it off, start it again and its fine, after that i parked it. So its here at home same but wtf could be wrong w/ it?...I'm getting my dad to look at it tommorow morning so if you guys have any suggestions to what may be wrong let me know.

Could it be going into limp mode? OMP failing? Pull your codes.

Sounds like it or maybe one or more of your injectors are having problems.

Sounds like the problem I had not too long ago, water thermosensor (code 9). Watch your temp. guage, this could become a serious problem if it over heats. My temp guage would fall cold unable to read the temp.
