i did do a search but didnt really come up with anything. i have a 91 n/a with cai, headers, and a straight pipe to two mufflers.i rebuilt my motor like a year ago, everything was fine. then about a month ago the idle got screwy. sometimes it stays at 750 for a while. and then after driving a little bit itll jump up to like 1300-1400. if i let out on the clutch in gear with the brake i can get it down to about 1100. i adjusted the timing and tps (did the ecu bypass and warmed everything up) and everything seems to be in order. i dont know what else it can be. has anybody had this problem or know what it is? thanks

 

See if your tps reads at 1 ohms when at idle.
