weird hunting & misfire
sorry to bug you folks again but my determination not to be afraid after first rx prob turned out to be doddle hasn't been rewarded this time....
my prob is this. car starts ok but starts to hunt whilst idiling once starting to warm, revs rise to 1500 then drop to thou with misfire heard from exhaust, up down up down for while with freqency every couple of secs i guess.wll drive and accelerate fine though
once warm car will have major unhappiness issues, with surge as power restores then major flat as fart during which put foot down to hold car up, then sudden whoomph surge again, longer driven the longer the flatness becomes,
have fitted new fuel & air filter recently, checked HT leads and plugs seem ok.Car is UK 86 n/a and much loved.
cud this be ground prob?am beginning to worry about crazy fuel system/rediculous air pump &exhausting exhaust....
realise a lot of folk put upon a gifted few for info a lot of time on this forum but hey where else can you find RX gurus? Not in UK mazda dealers that for sure.....
