hey guys, my 88 n/a keeps running alittle above the temp that it have been for about 1 year. when i first start the car and drive it, it is fine, and if i don't get on it, it does not get hot either. but the only time it does is when i race someone. and it never cools back down, unless i turn the car off for about 10 min.

what do you think might be the problem?

 

Change thermo stat, see if that helps cool things down.

 

thats what i was thinking, has this ever happened to anybody eles

 

my tranny used to overheat the radiator...
