Weird electrical problems...anyone got any ideas?

Ok it first started with my Gas light coming on and staying on....but its halfway on...kind of faint...but you can see it at night that its on.

Then after that my Antilock light would randomly come on. Sometimes if I turned the car off and start it back up it would go back off.

Next came the Seat Belt light. Its fully on and stays on.

Now for the even weirder stuff. Once about every 2 weeks my clock will not turn on and the AC will not work at all. So I check my fuses and low and behold one is blown...I replace it and the clock and AC work perfect.

Now I have learned to live with these problems the past few months that I have had the car...

But today a really weird thing happened. The add coolant light came on and BUZZED like crazy. I freaked out thinking that I am low on coolant...so I turn the car off and check the resavoir. Its in between low and full. So I put some in there all the way to full (half water half coolant) turn the car on and the light for coolant goes off.

Now driving home I am paranoid that my radiator is messed up so I leave the AC on and take it easy. All of the sudden the AC stops working and the clock goes off.

What is going on here guys? How can I fix these issues? Sorry for the long post

It sounds like a loose ground or a bared wire someplace causing the fuse to continue to blow repeatedly.

The faint lights in the idiot cluster are the cause of a must needed re-solder job inside.

It is easy to re-solder the idiot lights, pop the trim plate off, remove the two screws holding it in, pull it out and unplug it.

Open the cluster by removing the three screws on the back, pull open the back cover. Resolder all the points where the pins go through the pcb board. Careful not to get them too hot, it can damage the board. Just hold the solder gun there long enough to make the solder liquid again, then move to the next point.

Reassemble.

Good luck
