weird electrical problem

weird electrical problem
ok....this afternoon while i was driving around the area went over a bump and the stereo stopped working....dome light doesnt work...and hatch/door warning light was lit dimmly.....afterwards i disconnected the neg battery terminal the stereo still didnt work neither did it fix the weird light problems....
anyone have this problem before?..

yup....i found out the problem...while i was accelerating the atenna musta touched a ground and blew the fuse....i changed the room 7.5 amp and everythings fine....

Did the fuse fit snug into the holder? I was thinking a loose fuse receptacle when I read your first post...
BTW- antennas touching the ground shouldn't blow a fuse- they're passive creatures, and should have no juice at all in them (unless you count the electro-magnetic charges they pick up from the air)

have an aftermarket stereo....so needed the 30 amp relay to operate the grounding switch...i was lazy and used duct tape the first time....from the heat it came off and exposed all the wires and i guess they just werent meant to be bunced up and down much
