Weird electrical issues

OK, info on the car first.

1990 JDM tii.
Rmagic ecu

just recently, i was working on my car, had the radio going, when i finished up i had drained the batt, pretty good, so i roll started it and thought 'whatever'. i dont remember if it was immediately after that, or the next time i went out, but at some point my deck stopped turning on, i could hear the fans in the deck start up but nothing on the screen.

and then a couple days later, i came to my car in the morning and it was making a weird beeping sound, like the door was open maybe? and the battery was drained again.

i also noticed that even when the doors are closed the door ajar light is on, and eventually the hatch ajar light joined it. and then to make things even more odd, the other day there was a sort of relay like clicking going on in the upper dash area around the logicon/idiot cluster.

it was about that point as well that i noticed that my logicon (one of the digital jdm ones) didn't save any of the settings like it used to, and my interior dome lights and such dont work.

has my wiring taken a complete ****? or should i start looking at fuses? or start pulling stuff out (like deck, logicon, etc.) and see if any of that fixes it?

thanks in advance for your help, guys.

You might want to disconnect the negative battery cable and use the negative battery post and cable terminal/clamp as the two points to connect to a multimeter set to dc amps (not milliamps) and find where the voltage drain is coming from. Remove one fuse at a time in the interior fuse box and check the battery amperage drain after each fuse is pulled to narrow down which circuit is problematic.

^^ i agree with satch to find out which circuit you should be focusing on.

On the idiot light note though, someone mentioned to me a cpu in the driver's side kick panel that usually needs to be resoldered. (my lights don't work correctly all the time, nor does the click)

and on a totally different side not, can you pm me a pic of this digital logicon? I'm very curious:P

I had the same relay click problem. Very odd. The radio flashed with it, key out, never did find that problem. It started, I proceded to pull it apart to find the problem, and it stopped. Never heard it again. New problem is the winshield wipers. Before all I had was low speed. Then for a couple weeks everything worked. Now it doesn't turn off. Ahh the joys of a 23 year old car. Love it, gives it personality!
