Weird electrical issue

As of 12:05 this morning my 89 RX7 GXL with TII swap runs. As of about 2:20 this morning it drives. Very happy, it has only taken 3 years to get to this point! Been in school and I have three kids. Now onto the electrical issue.

Whenever I open my drivers door the power antenna goes down. Whenever I close the door, the antenna goes up. Very weird. The stereo is stock and non-op. I will be removing it, but has anybody ever seen this happen? Any ideas would be appreciated. Also the dummy lights in the middle always show the doors and hatch as being open. Again any help on where to look will be appreciated.

I will be going through the schematics and seeing what I can find, but any advice is appreciated.

I'd check where the harnesses plug into each other. The NA and TII harnesses don't have all the wires in the same position on the plugs. Everything else working ok?

Yeah, everything seems good. I haven't checked the power door locks or the sunroof yet, but all the necessary lights and accessories work. Now I need to finish the exhaust. Currently only a 3" downpipe.

Sounds like the door switch is acting like the gnd for the antenna relay and probably more. Find the ground block for the antenna and make sure it's connected up. I believe that gnd comes from the radio circuit somewhere.

When you turn the radio on, the radio itself puts a gnd on the antenna relay (the L/Y wire) and the antenna deploys. As to where in the radio IT gets the gnd is an unknown to me..........unless the chassis of the radio acts as the gnd. Got me.
