weird buzzing noise

when i start my car, there is a buzzing noise which sounds like its coming from the steering column somwhere. then it goes of after about 30 sec. it this normal?

yeah

i sometimes here strange buzzing in my car as well but it usually goes away

Is it a buzzing or a beeping? That usually indicated that your Powersteering computer is having issues.
