Im looking to find out how much weight a complete long block from a s4 or s5 rx7 with a transmission is. Could 3 or 4 physically active men pick this up on a pallet and be able to load it into the back of the truck or would I really need to do it with a forklift?

 

Engine~ 340lbs
Tranny~ 70lbs
Pallet~ 15-35lbs

So, yes. 3-4 people can do it.

 

no need forklift. me n my other skinny homie carried just the motor from the street to my yard!!

 

My dad and I carried a 13b-re long block off a loading dock and into a van. The shipping place didn't have a ramp to get a fork truck down to the parking lot. I think the shipping weight was only ~ 375lbs.

 

yea you can do it with 3-4 guys

dont break your back man, just get an engine lifter, they are pretty cheap & portable
