weighed my NA the other day...

they didnt let drag race, sicne i had a big crack in my widnshield, said it was a track hazzard. whatever ill get it fixed soona nd go back so on the way back from the drag strip, at the certified CAT scale i was passing. it was at 2440 lbs with 1/4-1/3 gas in the tank, the amount i drive with all the time anyway. i still had a few toys in the car, atelst 20 lbs. car ahs full interior, its an S5 with power widnows, power seat bealts, and all that good stuff. i do not have PS, AC, no spare tire, (i still have to get a fix flat kit) hardtop, no rear wiper, no wing in teh back, fc2000 bumper, many of you seen the engine bay i assume so you know not much there either. but as far as comfort goes its all ther and functioning except ps and ac if u can call that comfort.

anyone else weight theirs?

Holy **** that's light for a S5!

I wonder what the difference is between non-sunroof and sunroof equipped cars.

Any pics of the engine bay?

Good job man, and with a full interior at that! Have any other plans to get that a little lower? You're skimpin on FB weight there!

I assume this is WITHOUT driver correct?

Anywho, awesome weight,
Jon

the setup is not done, search under my name if you want to know more. once the setup is complete it might be out for sale if the demand is there.

doesn't seem like that would make 4-500 lbs worth of weight redux.

Kahren, where's CT? "achtung" is obviously german and german pounds are 10% heavier
than american pounds. just a curious thought. ich liebe die mutterland.

supposedly that setup makes "needing" a dual pulley less necessary.

yes, it is widely referred to as "Das Vaterland," but i'm accustomed to motherland. i dont believe its improper to refer to it as "Das Mutterland." problem with Das Vaterland is that it means "the land of my father." my dad was not born in germany, so it isnt the land of my father. but thats getting technical with meanings.

CT is Connecticut guys :-P BTW I think you could shave another couple hundred by getting that beer-keg out of your enginebay, it's not necessary to have brew with you wherever you go.

Fritz.... i must go with 1revvinFC3S.... beer is a MUST when traveling long distances, and is a valuable ally on those lonely nights, or in post-stress situations.... beer is always your friend :-)

but drink responsibly - too many people try to outdrink each other, and there's no point -

it's all about getting drunk and having fun :-)

I was actually talking about the beerkeg that is striped with the alternator and other crap attached to it, in the middle of the engine bay.
