way to test boost sensor?
i have an 87 t2 that is having issues under boost, wondering if there is a way to test the stock boost sensor? i know i am going lean because of my wideband i have 550 primary and 720 secondary. is there a way to check maf/afm as well?
Best to test it at the ECU, but you can take measurements at the sensor. Pin 2A, Brown/White wire, w/key to on has close to 5 volts. Pin 2B, Brown/Red wire has 2.3 to 2.7 volts w/key to on and vacuum hose disconnected. Black/White wire w/key to on has battery voltage. Other wire is the ground.
Procedure to test AFM.
Pin 2E has about 4 volts w/key to on and 2.5 to 3.5 volts at idle. Pin 2J 2 to 3 volts, key to on and air temp at 68 degrees.
