waterpump question

my t2 started to overheat just as i was geting home. the needle was going up, so i quickly booted it cos i was almost there. i made this really fast right turn and the needle went back to normal. i thought that was really weird. i got home checked for leaks. there was none. coolant level was fine. what gives? my only guess is the water pump is going wonky. any ideas?

you sure you don't have some air in the Rad or the system? Do a good flush (which should be done annually) and see if the problem persists.
