waterpump pulley question

Is there a waterpump pulley for the fc that doesn't protrude so far out i need a little extra room

No. That's just the way everything lines up. If you notice, the pulley bolts to the hub of the waterpump, which itself sits out there.

Now, you CAN replace the waterpump with something like this:

But you would need to get an electric waterpump somewhere and hook it up in-line with the hoses.

does the gilmer pulley set provide more room?

Nope, same problem; the hub of the pump itself sits far out there.

If your running a V mount then push it closer to the front of the car cause that pulley is only a 1/16 of an inch thick.

Start cutting sheetmetal............
