waterpump prices

my waterpump went out on my 86 gxl and im trying to find thhe best price for one can anyone help me out

they were about $50 pretty much where ever i went when i had to replace mine. i think i found the best deal at BAP Import Parts.

I just bought a NEW , yep new, not remanufacture water pump from Auotzone with lifetime warranty for $73. Good deal if you ask me. Reman from them is $39.

Get one made in Japan... trust me. I have a buddy in AutoZone management; he told me NEVER to buy a waterpump from them ... hmm.

i bought a new water pump and the fins on it were bigger than the old one and the water "path" was also deeper and larger than the stock one

I got one from Advance Auto about a year ago. Well after 5000 miles and one year the weep hole started weaping.

However, it may have been because the car sat.

Also, the mounting plate was bare metal. The lil bastard rusted. I didn't like that. Like they could not of hit it with a few coats of paint.

I painted mine black though.

I got mine from Discount auto parts or wahtever they're called now - for like $50 or something, I'm not sure, maybe it was less.

There are a few things that I will only replace with OEM Mazda parts, and the water pump, thermostat and radiator cap are 3 of the big ones. Oil filter is another, but is on another thread

The best price and service I have seen is through Mazdaformance.com
