If you're talking about the thermovalve on the end of the thermowax, you do not actually need it. It operates the double throttle system, which keeps the secondary throttles closed until the engine warms up. It's purely there to stop bad drivers romping on a cold engine. If you don't think you need it, cap the nipple on the manifold that feeds the thermovalve and you'll be fine. If you want you can remove the double throttle system entirely.

No.

Are you having problems with the water thermo valve not holding the secondary throttle plates open when the engine is cold OR are you looking for the water thermo sensor on the back of the water pump housing OR????????????

If its the item in the picture, then you can order it from Mazdatrix if you call them and ask them to get you one.

Its when the engine is cold. i can't start it in neutral, i have to put it in gear then start it. there's also a vaccum leak coming from it.
