Water temp gauge

When accelerating towards redline, once i hit 6500 all the way to 7000 my water temp gauge (stock) drops a mm and then goes back up. this is only when going through the rev range from about 5k. is my water pump about to die or is it just an electrical error?

Who knows what it is. However, there is a good chance it is elec.

If you are really worried about it install a stock gauge.

Just a side question....if your watching the gauge who is driving?
