Anyone interested in buying custom water temp sender adapotors like the Greedy one that alamo has on their site? In other words, a pipe that has rolled ends and a bung welded and or a hole drilled and tapped and ready to screw in a temp sender? Any interest?

 

Yeah.Connects b/t the radiator and water pump? What kink of threads? How big is the hole with the threads?

 

The more I think about it the more I think that the two key points that would determine if I bought one is money and the size of the hole. Some folk will want a little bitty hole for an electronic gauge and others out of the stone age might want one that a cheap *manual* gauge would fit in.

 

Well, most if not all of them would be drilled for the more common gauge sender, the autometer electronic water temp sender. I am sure that my buddy could customize the hole size for each person, but it might delay the order a day or so. I have a prototype one that he made and the sender screwed right in and I just added some JB weld around it to be safe. I don't want that thing coming out on the track

Yeah, it goes in line with the upper radiator hose between the pump and radiator.
