water seals?

The motor I just purchased has bad water seals. does this mean i am gonna have to do a whole rebuild? And if so what can I do to build this engine up to handle a turbo II setup? I dont have a car yet so I want to build this motor. I know that most will say to get a tubo II engine but I have this one so I want to build it. Also check this out and tell me what you think. Thanks Randon 61http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ory=33742&rd=1

If the oil and apex seals are still good then you can reuse them, but it would be wise to replace them while you are in the engine. And as for the turbo, I really don't think you should put a turbo on an NA, since an NA has higher compression, when you put a turbo on it, it will raise the compression even more. And won't take as mouch boost as it would to get a turbo to the same compression ratio. I am pretty sure that was a little confusing, because I just spaced out while I wrote all that, but you can figure it out.

Mainly you get a turbo engine core.

How much will a set of apex seals, oil seals, and water seals cost? Are there any other things that i am going to need to replace at this time?

It really depends on what is worn out of spec.

Since it's bad seals you may be lucky but then you may have a warped plate or something.

I'm haven't rebuilt yet but that's what I would assume.
