Water pump..

Its funny, so my water pump is working fine right. Then I go and take off my air pum, ps, and ac, and all the extra pulleys, and the very next day, water is streaming from the weep hole. All that I have running now is the one Alt/drive/waterpump belt and I dont have a double pulley. I just ordered a new waterpump, but do I need a double pulley now, or can it wait?

its not really a good idea to run with one belt, but I did it for a while, and I know others that did too. It really doesnt become an issue until high RPMs.

water coming out of the weep hole means you need to replace the water pump no matter what.

Chances are that the pump was already on its way out, and then with only one belt, the impeller is being pulled out of alignment (due to wear) and that is why you are getting a leak.
